…to honour the stillness from which the first light is born 🤍

A day of connection and ceremony to inspire, replenish, and restore the light within our hearts and within our lives.

✨ opening introductions and intentions

✨ guided meditation
✨ music meditation
✨ sharing with optional supportive reflection
✨ late lunch
✨ simple dancing to ground our light in our bodies
✨ small group intentions, connection, and blessing
✨ circle completion
✨ ceremonial candle lighting at sunset

I believe that, when our souls incarnate, we compress as much of our light into body and identity as we possibly can, entering the world with hope that we will find similar light in the world and others… but knowing that there will be many difficulties. I also believe that certain practices, connections, choices, places can replenish that light, filling us as though from below the earth and radiating through our lives like full sunlight. This day ceremony falls one week before winter solstice, so that we may sit with ourselves and each other as we approach the darkest day of the year, and be embraced by our soul’s own light… perhaps more deeply and profoundly than ever before 🤍 There will be meditation and opportunities to share, food and gentle fire gazing, simple dancing and blessings, ceremony and silence, and of course, a great deal of love through every moment of the day.

Please know that I use the word ‘light’ with no religious reference and that all branches of spirituality are most welcome. My email address is emmeliesa@gmail.com if reading this has sparked something for you, or if you have any questions at all 💫
